My hood is cracked near the hing and its not in a good stop to stitch it up with zip ties. What would you recommend to do for fixing it? some kind of fiberglass or?

I've used aluminum with marine epoxy; rough it up with 60 grit.

I use the stuff called plastic repair! It is the best for repairing that hood! I believe its from HPE, made by 3 Bond!
