Hi, I have a old 1987 Arctic Cat 440 jag. It runs good but it bogs down and dosent have all the top end sometimes. Sometimes its awsome then other days its a pig. Is there anything I could check or do I just bring it to a shop. Also im getting a 1991 ski-do 380 with a seized motor. Would it be woth trying to fix the motor or just getting another engin. If so could you put a bigger engin in it like a 500 or would you have to keep a 380 size in it. Any help is apprecitated. Al

Depends what seized in the motor (piston or rod bearing). Piston a lot cheaper to replace than rod/crank. And WHY did it seize? A 440 or similar should bolt right up.

As far as the other sled, I'd check the crank seals to make sure that's not it.
