i need help with my 86 polaris 400 my ele system keeps on blowing all my light bulbs:dunno:

dont ride at night... lol just kidding first place check make sure your running th right bulbs, run through all your wiring for any shorts then look fro a voltage regulator, that could be the issue

i have an indy 400 that came to my shop with same problem.
was the voltage regulator blowing them.
had to replace every bulb, even dash lights.

sounds like the regulator, its pushing to many amps through blowing all your bulbs :thumbsdown:

i have a regulator thats black and has yellow wire thats power in then it has what looks like brass with three holes does that have to grounded our is it power out or is it power in? i love to ride at nite its the best time to ride,the best time to road ride.
