Hey all,

This is probably a pretty easy job but I don't want to drill into my carb if I don't have to.

I've bought a universal primer kit and want to install it on my VK540 but have no idea where to start as it came with no instructions and I can't find anything online other than one thread where they were talking about drilling into the top of the carb to drop the line into. That seems like a recipe for disaster so I though I'd check on here and see what the deal was.

Thanks guys, the weather turned to s$%! for a few days, hopefully tomorrow I'll get the chance to get out and take another look.

You bet. It's an easy and cheap upgrade and saves a lot of wear and tear on both the starters and your body. You will need 10mm or 3/8" ID spring clips where you tee into the fuel line.
