Hi a friend of mine just picked up a 07 600 Crossfire and we thought the primary clutch spring was broke so we tried that today but it was fine. What is happening is when going forward and you cram on the throttle it sounds like there is a grinding in the transmission and stops immediately, the engine revs out but the sled stops, when you put it in reverse you can cram it and works fine so i definately think it's in the tranny/gear box i was wondering if this was common and what the price might be to change it. Thanks in advance.

doesn't sound healthy.. but yeah, rip the cover off and look in there. i dont know any common problems about that specific sled and gearbox problems. I grinding noise like that could be a bearing, or a chan in the gearbox binding maybe?

a bearing i would say would be around 20 bucks

or you could find yourself having to replace shafts gears chains and bearings, and could be a couple hundred quick enough.

best and really only way to see, is start looking
