I've just purchased a Grand Touring 800SE from 2003.
So I'm new with this sled.
If I push the button of the airshock, up or down, I don't hear, feel or see anything happening.
I guess I should hear a compressor if I push up, and maybe a sissling sound when pushing down.
In the dash is an orange light, with a sign that looks like the sign at the button.

I guess it is a good start to put 12V on the compressor to test the thing. But where is this thing located?
As far as I see there is no fuse in the fuse box for the compressor. Strange. Is this somewhere else located?
Somebody know where I can find a service manual of this type?
If the compressor is dead, I found out that it is expensive. Is it possible to change the airlines so I just can mount a schräder valve and put air in the shock if needed? Somebody done that before? Which parts needed?

Any other ideas what to check? Thanks!

Here is a link for a factory manual.

I have never had or worked on this suspension, so I can't help you there. From what I have read, all of these systems of this vintage had problems at some point.

Good luck!
