Hey, this is a thread for oil/gas mixture ratios. I have a question on a mixture ratio for my Polaris star 244cc. It blew up and i'm pretty sure it had to due with oil. I replaced the piston and got rid of the oil. What ratio should it. Right now I'm using 37/1. Tell me if this sounds good or what I should be using. Thanks.

my buddy had that sled a couple years
ago. he ran 32/1.
still had a couple of fouled plugs in a season.
but as always plugs are cheaper than pistons.

Thanks. I Think i'm gonna stick with 37/1, gets more power for me.

We have an 84 Star and the oil ratio is 40-1. 16 oz. of oil to 5 gals. of gas. The sled runs great and the plugs aren't fouling.
