I'm new to this, so please forgive my stupid question! I am replacing a fuel line that runs from the gas tank to...... The line split and then came off, so I can't determine where it goes once I connect it to the gas tank. I'm thinking fuel pump, but couldn't see a fit. Any ideas?

it should go to a fuel shutoff valve and then to the fuel pump
