Has anyone seen one of these ? After running out of gas on a long trip last year, it's a viable option for both my wifes , and my sled. There has to be something better than the crappo cap style that I have now!

I'd prefer the guage over the light. With the light, it won't come on until you're almost empty, where with the guage you can keep constant track of it. Luck would have it your light will go on about 1/2 hr AFTER passing the gas station.....:(

What do the aftermarket fuel gauges consist of and how difficult are they to install? I'd be interested in getting one if they were priced right. I agree the cap gauge is just about worthless.

I just see the tach and speedo clusters...I haven't seen any other place but I haven't looked carefully at it now that you mention it. Pigtailing onto the lighting lead for the other two gauges wouldn't be difficult for the fuel....I was thinking more along the actual sensor...that would require drilling of the tank I assume>?
