I was wondering if anyone has had their Fox shocks rebuilt and what the cost was . I have 2 fronts and one rear off a 1994 RXL that I picked up for parts and they have lost their damping. Is it worth it ? I could just buy replacement Kimpex ones or have these done. I'm not even sure who I would send them to around here.
Thanks

Stick with the fox, their valving is way better on the trails then kimpex and their tougher. A rebuild kit is $25 a piece. I just had mine done (fox) all 4 of them and it was a grand total of $235.00. Should be less if you only have 3. Maybe $180 total for yours.

Look at the shaft on those shocks and make sure they aren't pitted otherwise your rebuild will be worthless. The pitting will take you seals out pretty quick. I've had mine rebuilt by a shop here locally and they recharge the nitrogen in them along with a total rebuild for around $65.00 ea
