Buddies 99 rmk 700, runs perfect till it dies randomly( all speeds and/or throttle positons it happen...??) restarts first pull almost every time(95%) trying the restart anywhere from 1-3 mins after the kill. kills completely like a kill switch was hit (but it wasn't). today he rodes for 35 miles 1-2 hours before first kill, becomes more frequent after each one...eventually only 1-3 miles after the last kill.
things checked: new fuel added 2 tanks...nevered draind just added...70 miles this year so far, new fuel filter, fully creand carbs, blew out vent line, stator in garage has 158 olms red to blue,
what else should i check?
thanks for the help

ps it does seem to develop an air bubble in the fuel line in the tank right up next to the valve out of the tank( high spot in the line), good screen and weight on that line. could that cause the kill? if so how could it restart the 1st pull? wouldn't the carb bowls have been used dry and need to be filled if the clog was from the tank? for that mater how does it even get an air bubble i that line, where can it draw air from?
thanks agian

Did you pull the rubber tipped float needle AND the housing it slides in. Sounds like an obstruction there or possibly the pickup tube filter in tank.

Both carbs torn down, dont recall the ruber tiped float needle, didnt pull the floats out though. we are haveing a hard time grasping the concept that it starves fuel to die compleatly, no sputters, both carbs starved, then restart in less the 15 sec. like nothen even hapened

can you see the inline spark test while you are riding? as it has spark as soon as you get off and pull it over ...???
