Trying to replace the rear torsion spring on my 95 ext 580.

The bogey wheels came off.

The idler wheel bearings will not come off. What am I missing? Are they just rusted on? Do i need an idler wheel bearing pulley...

Thanks

Okay, am I hearing this correctly....The Wheel bearing is still on the shaft? That is the first thing wrong, they are supposed to be held into the bogey wheel by a snap ring. So you will need to most likely get a new bogey wheel w/ new wheel bearing and it should come with a snap ring. If not then IF you are lucky enough you can just get a new snap ring & wheel bearing to put the bogey wheel back together.

To get the wheel bearing off spray the heck out of it with pio oil or something similar and use a old style claw puller and VERY slowly pull the bearing off the shaft not bending it or ruining it in any way.

The upper boggies are pressed on with the C clip on the inside so you can remove the rubber and pull the bearing, then install the bearing and clip and just drive the wheel on
