Bought a couple of older exciter IIs. Cleaned up the carbs( mikuni) sleds run pretty good while engine temp is cold. Soon as they warm up they get boggy. Bad. Determined the crank seals were shot so I replaced them. Put about 4 miles on and right back to square one. Any thoughts? I’m a Polaris guy so not sure if I was missing something obvious or if Yamaha had a more common issue I wasn’t aware of. Appreciate any help.

Welcome
The 570 is a good motor , don't know of any issues.
The carbs being clean and the chokes set correctly
I assume you are getting too much fuel?
It is possible the choke plungers are not sealing properly?
As it gets warmed up if you flip the choke does it kill it or no difference?

I’m not sure. Haven’t tried the choke while it’s warmed up. I’m wondering if it could be electrical cdi or stator?

Right!
If the choke floods it out then you are getting enough fuel there fore you could be loosing spark.
It is possible the external coil is getting hot and loosing spark on just one side then the other!
Just swap it out with a known good one!
