Have '98 Polaris Sport w/ 440 fan. Just got sled, so carbs have not been rebuilt 125# compression both cylinders. Idles and runs great on acceleration.
In light load situations, engine sounds like it's missing or 4 cycling. Hit the throttle and takes off fine.
Thinking might be weak coil. ! spark plug runs a bit darker than the other. Any ideas? Thanks

I would always start by cleaning the carbs, just because it's pretty much free and rules out that as an issue. Then check for spark. Sometimes the contact from the plug wire to the coil is bad. You can unscrew the plug boot and snip off 1/4" of wire and re-attach the boot. Check inside the boot to make sure the contact screw is shiny and clean. That's also pretty much free. It's always good to go from cheap to expensive when fixing sleds ;)
