Hey guys I just bought a 2010 pro R with a blown motor for a really good deal. I was wondering what would be the best/cheepest way to get it going. It looks like it broke off a ring and that destroyed it. The cylinder, piston, and head are gone. I will be pulling the engine this weekend to see how bad the crankshaft and case are. Do you think it would be cheeper to just go buy an entire new engine or go buy individual parts to do it myself. I would be planning on needed at least a crankshaft, a new cylinder, top end, and a cylinder head. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Also would it be possible to just rebuild and reuse the crank? Would that be worth the time and money compared to just getting a new one? I will be pulling the engine this weekend to take a better look at it but if it looks decent would a rebuild be a better option?
