I didn't no if electrical was drivetrain, but it fits in the best. Alright, i noticed my head lights were burning out too often, so i replaced the voltage regulator. Got a "Universal" one. I've been researching a bit and i'm not sure if its true but people say universal ones won't work long and you need the OEM..the universal one is blowing the lights already. :dunno:

its a 91 polaris sport 440. My friend said its cause of my neons. he had a sled with underglow doin the same thing. but that didn't make sense to me cause i used the handwarmer wires to wire my neons..wouldn't it put out the same amount of power to the neons it was to the lights?

It should. If it were drawing too much power, it would burn out the lighting coil on the stator, not the regulator.
