So I need longer throttle and brake cables, I am putting a 5in riser on. I have tried a PowerMadd extender but the little slide joiner inside does not mate up with the end of the cable, I could try modifying it but I also for the brake cable I just do not think even unmodified it would be strong enough and thinking I just need longer cables.

Has anyone done this before and used a different cable for the throttle and brake that would be at least 5 inches longer? I saw a clutch cable 5SF-26335-00-00 cable suggested but doesnt say how long it is and one end of the sheave is threaded and wrong for a brake cable, may work for the throttle.

Thanks

Phil

I raised my SRV bout 6 inches
I also put a Mikuni 44 on it!
I was able to find cables from an Exciter along with the throttle block.
Hardest thing was the brake cable and I used a Universal

The throttle cable I used was a VM40-VM44MM 138-02
Universal brake cable was either LLO5-912 or 915 about 34 1/2" long
