Im going to be looking at some sleds possiby next weekend and i found a place that has a 94&95 formula z and 94&95 formula stx whats the big differnce here they look the same body wise is there something special one does not have and what would u recommend the the stx or z?

Very similar sleds but here is the difference between the two for both years:

94:

The Formula Z has extra options that the STX does not get. Nicer seat; plastic skis (STX gets steal ones) HPG shocks up front and in the rear; Low windshield (STX had the high one); Adjustable sway bar and 40mm carbs (STX has 38's).

95:

Same as above except in '95 the Z got Hydro brakes.

This is the way they came from factory. Depending on who owned the sled before you things could be different, obviously.

Good sleds though, you won't be disappointed. I'd buy the 95 Z, but that's just my opinion....;)

yeah thats what im leaning towards , the hydro brakes are somethin i want better stoping dont have to worry about cables braking ect. my friend had a 94 formula z , piped, and clutched, ripped pretty good, loved the sound, to bad be wreck it though
