I just put a d&d single pipe on my 01 MC 800. I was at a 330 mj and the wash looked good. I went up to a 350 mj. Do you think this is a safe starting point on the mj?

I would check the tech page on their website but looking at piston wash is the best way to keep a eye on jetting. Most people assume you can just pull a plug and tell but that doesn't always work. I thought the 800's had 430's for stock jets? Usually good rule of thumb is to add 2 jet sizes when installing pipes.

Maybe at sea level, but I ride 8-10,000'. The wash at 330 on the mj w/ stock pipe looked good. So I'm hoping with the pipe 350's will be good. Thanks..
