Before ripping into a 1991 XLT 650. I wanted to ask if this is possible with this engine. Will the holes and pins align? I plan to match and orientate the pistons with the same cylinders. Before you ask.....the reason I aim to do this is to put the triple into a rigid bike frame. Flipping the cylinders will allow for ram air carbs annndddd most of all straight back expansion chambers and pipes. Anyone ever done this?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. You would still need to have Jetting that is appropriate and would be the biggest challenge IMO.
what type of challenges of jetting are you referring too? Adjustments for ambient temps and “ram” air? This is not going to be a drag bike. I am going for rat snobike hybrid. She’ll be a show/bar hopper. Cooling capacity is my next consideration. I would like to not have to run electric fans.
