So I stripped where the choke cable goes into the carb on my indy 400. I think the threads are too wrecked to just tap and dye. How much would it be to use a helicoil for it? Is it better just to buy a new carb? Or is there any other options of how to fix this existing carb?

I would just find another used carb.
