Can someone please step out how to do a compression check on a 2 stroke?? Do you need to leave the other spark plugs in and hold throttle open while pulling?? Any help will be appreciated.

Key off and out of sled
Kill swittch off
Remove spark plugs
Install compression tester
Give sled 3 good pulls with the throttle wide open
Check reading and do other side
Your reading should be within 10% of each other

That is pretty much it......

Well I tried checking the compression and I am getting 75 PSI on each Cylinder. The gauge I am using is pretty old so I will try a new one and see if the readings are the same. If they are what is my next stpe?? Top end overhaul. If so, do I need to replace the pistons if they are ok and so is the cylinder?? Or can I just replace the rings?

Should I still be riding this machine?? It starts whithin 3 pulls and seems to have power.

This sucks as the snow is just starting to come down!!

Not that I stated clearly on this but was the engine warm or cold? Try getting the sled at operating tempature and do the test. If your getting 75 on all 3 cylinders than I'm assuming you did this with the engine cold. Sorry for the confusion. Let me know if this makes any difference.
