I was recently given a set of two 88' arctic cat panthers. One runs great while the other one seems to be having some problems. It will start up fine but as soon as it warms up it just sputters out. As soon as you give it any throttle that also kills it. THe only way to keep it ideling is to give it a combination of throttle and press the primer. Also i noticed that the carburetor is leaking gas out of the top weaper hole severly. Any help would be appreciated.

(P.S. i put in a new fuel filter but i was told that the fuel pump may be having problems]

If you have fuel coming out of the overflows then you may have a stuck or misadjusted float. Remove, disassemble and inspect your carbs. The float should be level with the body when held upside down (bowl side up).

As far as the dieing when you touch your throttle it could be your throttle monitor switches.
