Last year I replaced my stock reeds with V Force 3's. I've got good midrange but sloppy idle. My main jets (Keihin carbs) are 180's. I didn't replace the needle jets and didn't mess with the needle setting. I've adjusted my airscrews at quarter turns but that didn't seem to have any effect. I'm riding at 0-3000 ft, 10 to -20 degrees. What can I do to improve my choppy idle? What do you suggest if I improve my stock silencer to a Rumble Pack or DG?

I also switched out my stockies for a set of vforce3's on my 01 ZR600EFI, the sled idles at about 750RPm (half what it should be). Vforce says I shouldnt have to rejet, any suggestions? Plugs look fine, it IS old gas, so its probably separated and everything else is stock. I was told that the EFI just has to reset the idle. Is this correct and if so how long does the computer take to get that done?
