I have a 1990 Yamaha Phazer II, and I took it out for a ride today. I just got it recently and I am still trying to work a few little bugs out of it. The machine idols great, and runs great from 5000 rpms and higher. Anything below that and it seems to bog out a little, then it goes. I am just wondering if this could be related to the pilot screws on each carb??!! Thanks!

Yup, it's the pilot screws. Turn each one a quarter turn in and see if that changes it for the better, if it gets worse, go a quarter turn out. Keep going the same way each time until it starts to get worse again, then turn it back to the best position.
