What are the main differences between the formula and mach series sleds?I have a 96 formula stx 583 now, looking to buy another sled probably mid 90's to early 2000 model. Just looking for info on the difference in sleds.
From the info i'm getting the mach's were heavier with big hp and the mxz's were light ditch bangers is this correct?I'm looking for something with more bottom to mid range thump than top end. There's not alot of wide open stuff here in central pa,so i'm looking for something light and quick! Not sure whether to go with a twin again or a triple maybe someone could shed some light on the pro's and con's on engines and chasis for the mid to late 90's models. Thanks for any info
The formula Plus was a 583 and the MX was a 467 2-up. They all used the same chassis, although the MX was longer. The Mach Z was a 780 triple, and a point and shoot type sled. Not really what you want for ditch banging.
