I have a '98 RMK 600 that i just put a riser and some new handlebars on and i had to get a new brake line and some new grips. the brake line that i got was the Fly racing one. it was supposed to be six inches longer than the stock one, but the stock one has a solid tube that makes a full U turn where it goes into the caliper. the new Fly line that they sent me doesnt. so i dont know what i am supposed to do with it. this might sound like a stupid question to ask but i simply just dont know. is there a certain brake fluid that i am supposed to use?

As long as your new brake line has the right fittings to hook up, and enough length to fit comfortably with the risers, hook it up !! only thing I would do is use a few zip ties to keep it away from exhaust or moving parts that could cut into it.

And I agree with Dan, DOT 3 fluid is fine
