Am I going to have any problems when I have the heads bored/honed on my SS440? They come stock with cast iron sleeves and I just ordered .25 os yamaha pistons. Heads are still at stock diameter but im wondering how big can you go before the sleeve gets too thin? Im I going to be ok with what I bought? Thanks!

yes you will be fine. but you don't bore the heads.you bore the jugs. make sure you wait and take the new pistons in when you have it done.

You can go up to 40 over on a ss440 with no problem's and yes take the new pistons in the the cylinders to have them borded to piston!!

Thanks, I bought Yamaha pistons, read somewhere on the forum here that it was best to go with the original over wiseco. Is it because of the forged vs cast debate or?
