Which clutch springs should I use to get my sleds clutching tuned right?

My peak performance is between 7-8400 on my 91 ext special (550) I have no baffles in my muffler and pipes with 310 jets.

currently my clutches operate at between 6000-7200 or so and grab at 3800rpm . I have a red spring on the drive clutch with 49.5 gram weight arms, and a yellow spring on the driven which is set to post hole 4 of 5

I have a blue or green spring from my old drive clutch which engaged at 4500rpm

If you want to regain the higher engagement rpm, that is all you will need.
Depending on what you are shooting for, the variables are nearly infinite as far as combinations of springs/weights/helix angles.

At Wot while i'm cruising down the trails i want it to be operating at the engines peak power range of 7400-8300 rpm the current engagement speed is ok for me but clutching is keeping me from gettign into the higher rpms

So, you should change back to stock set up then.
Cams A-12 (45.3 gr)
Spring Yellow-green (this has a higher finish than the red spring and a softer start)
Secondary spring PN 0648-010 White

With the red spring, you should have 50.5 gr weights.
