I want to check the steering linkage on my sled. Thee seems to be some slack. How can I get at the bottom of the steering linkage under the engine without removing the engine? Can the belly pan be removed? Cut? I seem to recall someone mentioning drilling rivets to remove it and screwing, bolting it back in place.
Can this be done?

IT IS EASIER TO PULL MOTOR THAN TO MESS WITH REMOVING BELLYPAN, TAKES ABOUT 45MINS TO PULL MOTOR AND LOT LONGER TO PULL BELLYPAN AND YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE ACCESS
TO LINKAGES, WITH MOTOR OUT EVERYTHING IS EXPOSED.

GOOD LUCK!

i say pull the motor out to. I had to replace a belly pan one my sled once and rivet it in, almost took the same amount of time. I still had pull the pipes to rivet everything.
