Can muratic acid be used to remove aluminum scuffing from the newer artic cat cylinders? I use it for the older cast iron cylinders, but don't know about the nikasil bore.

I've used it on nikasil bores with good results. Be careful with it though. If the damage is beyond the plating, it won't do you any good. That's rare though.
