Alright, so I got a 2006 Summit, freshly rebuilt engine, and I would hate to dust it with the particles of my deuterating foam filter. I want to get a new one because this one is 14 years old and falling apart, only catch is, I am not willing to spend 75 Canadian dollars on a piece of foam. Any suggestions? Perhaps links to cheap bulk foam that I can cut into size? Or OEM size that is actually reasonable. I have a picture of the filter in my hand, so you can agree that it is outrageous for a skidoo dealer to try and charge me 75 dollars for it.

I would try something like this... it's a mesh you can place across the opening that repels moisture and snow but allows air through. Lots cheaper, not sure where you can get it up north, though...
