I heard that if the outside temp. is below zero you should add oil to the gas tank. Is this true and if so how much should be added. Thanks

i agree, manual should say but only a little bit is needed. 1:100 sounds about right for anytime below zero. If you add more, it wont hurt a thing. when in doubt, add about 1-2 oz per gallon. it may be rich, you may fowl a plug, but you will not have to rebuild your engine for 700-1500 bucks!! good luck

I'm not sure but does to much oil in the gas lean it out to the point of------------------pause--------------------screeeeech bang-boom ect. :confused: MM.

i normaly put a glug to a full tank religously,since i have i havent poped an engine yet (2 yrs or so)
