I have a 99 xcf and it has the optional electric start on the ignition but doesn’t seem to be hooked up do I only need to buy a starter or do I need a whole kit?
Starter with bracket, Battery, Ring Gear, fuse holder, new regulator, and mounting bracket for the battery.
Typically your ignition key-switch is already set up for e-start as well as the harness.
Ring gear bolts onto the primary clutch
Start bolts onto the bracket, which bolts onto the motor
Battery needs to be mounted, and you'll need the cables.
Fuse holder. This goes between the keyswitch and battery.
Regulator you have is only for A/C. You'll need one with a DC output.
