I'm running a 98 formula 3 triple, and everytime I take it out it seems to run on 2 or less cylinders, I replace the spark plugs with new ones and it works fine again.
Any ideas?

what do the plugs look like when removed?
if flooded, when was the last time u cleaned
the carbs? float could be sticking slightly?
id find out what cylinders are not firing and
go from there.

The Plugs that are fireing are dry, the others moist when removed.
It has been just the middle cylinder, but this morning it was middle and right cylinders.
I cleaned the carbs about a week ago.

ok. next thing i would do is check compression.
5pulls, at wot.

it's between 130 - 135 on all 3 cylinders

mine were at 1.5 turns out. put at 2 turns out per
service manual and it bogged out after 5k.
reset to 1.5 turns and runs perfect.
so id say around there for a starting point.

My mixture screws were set at about 1 turn out each, I set them to 2 turns out about 2 weeks ago and havn't had to change or clean spark plugs since.

possible that the coil is taking a crap when warmed up i just had that issue now the my sled runs awesome again

Before changing any settings on carbs..If its still stock,,leave it alone....Go to Napa Auto,get a can of Sea Foam,This will clean whole fuel system of varnish from gas..mix ratio in with gas and put new plugs and wires on it...br9es ngk...STOCK wires and plug caps from a dealer..DO NOT fall for the racing wires,,had them..they get hot spots and seperate causing the misfires...just did this to mine yesterday..brand new sled again.UNBELIEVABLE!!!
This was done on my 2nd sled..Formula 600 triple!
