I just bought a 96 wildcat 700, i cleaned the carbs, new plugs, fresh gas. The sled will kinda run but there is alot of backfiring. I took the carbs back out and re-cleaned them, still looked good, same thing. It seem like I'm getting fuel, I'm gona change the fuel filter just to be sure. I didn't drain all the gas out, of the tank before i started, so I'm gona do that too. Any other ideas would really help.

I usually disconnect the TSS switch on all my sleds, never knew what i was called. But this one seemed to work, i was going to get it running before i disconnected it. But i guess it will unhook it so i know I've eliminated one potential problem. I broke the pull cord last night so i have to get a new one of those first.
