Just bought a 96 Vmax Xt and was wondering when i start it up, on the dash there is a light that flashed "tors" It goes off
after a few flashes but i dont have the owners manuel to help me out.
tors is your throttle over ride system. This is normal for it to flash the way it does when you start it up. Also lets you know that it is working. This is a safety system. If your throttle ever sticks open, your engine will automatically shut off.
well, your sled barely is worked in lol, if it is running strong, thre is no reason to rebuilt it yet. i know someone who has a sled with over 18,000 km on it and it still runs strong....the decision is still up to you, but id wait a few years until u see alot of power loss
Ive got 4,000 on mine and its still running excellent
