my buddy has a 95 zl 700 with a clutch kit that have the weights shaved so it could engage at higher rpm, two K&N filters, and at top end when yur goin pretty ast it is really boggy could this be the filters? should he replace the filters with the original airbox? i am asking this because i might buy the sled for 1500$ and don't want to buy it if i can't fix it.

they were changed once because of the filters and then it ran really crappy then we changed out the mains back to the stock ones meant for the airbox and ran but now is boggy and top end?
