Hoping someone can help me out. machine starts to misfire and cutting out as soon as engine gets warm. Already changed head gasket, fuel pump, checked carbs for water, changed plugs & caps, cdi box, compression is good, put newer used stator in ....still doing the same thing...sometimes it runs good then after a couple miles it starts to act up.. the next time u start it it might act up right away.....stumped!!! Any ideas would be appreciated

Well finally solved the problem...The ignition switch !!!! During the elimination process I discovered that I had a broken choke cable, repaired it but still didn't solve the problem. Ended up bypasses the ignition plug from the engine and it worked.. then was able to eliminate all the wires one by one..... What a job....4 days of fustration lead to something simple!!!

Electrical problems can be a real PITA to track and fix.
