i have a exciter and it seems that it will bog down when climbing up a hill and if i slow down then try to go the clutch stays engaged just enough to touch the belt, like your starting off in 2nd gear i guess ive tried to wd40 it and i cleaned the cluch shaft where it sticks with sand paper put it still happens what can i do. any help would be great

I don't think that was a good idea to spray a liquid lubricant on your clutch. The reason I wouldn't is because the colder it gets the thicker the oil will be until you warm up. This will cause the clutch to stick. What I did with my phazer was cleaned it out with hertel plus and hosed it off to clean it out. After it dried up i candy coated it with spray on graphite and that solved my sticking clutch problem. I did this 4 years ago and just spray it once or twice a year with the graphite and all has been well. Graphite from the can, when it dries up does not change thickness as liquid lubricants do.
