my 340 jag wont shift to the high gear has new belt good deflection takes off fine but revs out when trying to go over 20.I have parts sled with both clutches and won to know which one needs switched lift the track off the ground both engage perfect will get to about 35 or 40 mph and completely revved out belt is not riding on top of primary or in the bottom of secondary.Dont know what to do Please help.:confused:

can you move the shieve on the secondary clutch? may be rusted up

to check take the belt off....hold the inside wiht one hand and try to rotate the outer one clockwise with the other. it should rotate easily

Sounds like you have a dirty primary or secondary, or both. Or you may have a worn out primary. Is the primary the stock Arctic Hex Clutch? I so check for play or movement of the outer sheave on the hex shaft. Check the side of ramps, and spider arms for signs of wear. If there is play or wear, your primary may be binding.
