i would think if your getting water out of both holes that it is more likely a cylinder base gasket leaking water into the crankcase.you did use new gaskets right? posibly they were put on backwards or upside down and left a coolant pasage open

If this is the engine I am thinking of, it is a Cuyuna, in a Scorpion. Check that you have properly installed (new) base gaskets, and that they are seated properly. Short of that, i would check for faulty head gaskets. Not likely if you used new gaskets, but make sure you have everything properly torqued down, and assembled properly. The only other thing that would cause this is a cracked casting. This would be a 3 cylinder engine, right? Let me know because I may still have books on that one.
