I just got this engine rebuilt internally so I want to break it in on the bench.ive been trying to get spark to the plug so I can move on.at first I wasnt getting continuity to the coil wire.figured out was a bad connection at the condenser.now I have continuity but no spark. heres a list of what I've done so far.

Replaced coil and spark plug
Cleaned the points til shiny
Checked points operation and adjusted
Cleaned and checked flywheel and magnetos
Cleaned all electrical connections
Redid condenser wiring

Checked for power on coil wire and got 6 volts max after a few pullstarts.

Seems like it's not getting enough voltage?

have you tried cutting off a 1/4 inch from the plug wire? maybe a little corrosion or something there. also, try new points. my sleds points looked fine but didnt work, new points got it going
