I just bought a 500 fomula sls from in auction. The engine came in parts due to engine failure. Clutch side crank bearings went. It also came with a used but good bottom end (crank case and crank). My question is, Should there be a spacer between the rist pin and the piston??? Thanks Jeff:dunno:

The stock SkiDoo wrist pin bearings are cageless- individual needles. They have a spacer on either side of the needles to keep the needles and piston in the proper orientation. If you use aftermarket caged wrist pin bearings you do not need the spacers.

Thanks Jerry for the info. I bought aftermarket caged rist pins, And in the box of parts I had the spacers on the wrist pins. Thanks Again Jeff
