I am looking at getting a Switchback 600 Pro S and was wondering if there is a difference in engines between 2015 and 2016? Someone told me I will want the 2016, but haven't found anything that tells me if there was an upgrade to the engine or if it is the same.
I do like some of the colors of the anniversary edition which is 2015, but if the engine isn't as good I will concentrate on 2016.

Thanks so much.

The pistons, cylinders, crankshaft, crankcase are all the same, according to the Polaris parts site. There may be differences in the ECU or the throttle bodies that give the newer version more HP, but it won't be a lot. The 2015 had a lot of very positive reviews when it came out.

Either year would be a very fun sled, Polaris 600 engines have been their shining star for a long time.

Good luck in your choice, and welcome to the forum!
