While aimlessly stumbling around the net, i stumbled on a Russian sledding site. Thought id share some of my finds.I think you will find it amusing and enlightening.

no the skidoo alpine was made until 95, there still some out there grooming in small clubs I had a 1980 alpine that thing would break trail and plow trees down like nothing ( frozen throle you would be amazed how far it got) lol

The planes in the Buran's first picture also says a lot about Russia compared to the US...that would be a big ole C-130 here. haha

Haha and they all bear little if any resemblance to eachother!

That is definately an odd product family there..
