CFI is really nice. Always reliable starts and no worrying about flooding and stuff. I don't know if my (07) is a CFI-4 or a CFI-2, but it is pretty fast and I make 13mpg.
Yea, I don't know the HP and MPG stats for the carbed, so I couldn't tell you how big of a difference it is.... but I doubt it's a big enough difference to pay for $1000 worth of gas.
The CFI version is 4 hp more than the carb version. My CFI 600 gets better fuel mileage than my carb 600, even though the CFI has a longer track. Both are pretty peppy for a 600, though
