Hi all, I have a 2003 MXZ non-rev and was wondering what oil I should be running in it? Do you need to completely drain the oil if you are going to switch brands or can you just use the new one for topping off as long as it is the same type?

Basically I have been using the premium 2-cycle stuff they sell at Quik-Trip as that's the only place I currently know to get oil, but was thinking about ordering some amsoil since that's what everyone seems to recommend.

Does it really matter that much to worry about?

Thanks.

Just use up as much oil as you can that's currently in the oil tank. Then top off with new oil of your choice. I've used Amsoil with no issues, so I'm not afraid to recommend it.....Interceptor if you have (exhaust) power valves....Injector if you don't.
