I have a very nice 2001 sxr 600, all stock. Great shape, good enough power for me for now. It's an easy two-stroke for me to work on and I can keep it viable for at least a few more years.

There is a 2004 viper skid for sale locally. Good price. Would that skid be any type of rear suspension UPGRADE over what I have currently? Just in case the year is wrong and it's a 2002 or 2003 viper skid, is that any different than what the SXr had anyhow? Assuming it's an upgrade, would that more or less be a direct bolt-on swap for my sled?

And while I'm at it, would there be any front suspension swap upgrades that would be worth doing for that sled?

Thanks in advance

Ok... You're saying my SXr skid is better than the Viper skid because mine is lighter?
