Any help would be appreciated
Details:

220 pound male
2001 Edge X 600
No modes
144 studs 1 inch track (new)
Carbs good
compression good
VES Valves cleaned and Bellows replaced
4600 Miles

Any suggestions or does this sled top out around 80 MPH.

You do have a reasonable amount of rotating mass with 144 studs. However I have a '02 xc 600 with a 144" x 1.25" track and I can still hit about 100. Measure the width of your belt, maybe it's a little bit worn down.

Belt or clutches. Whats it reving?

Brand New Belt as of late last year. I haven't looked at clutching as a matter of fact I would have to hire a mechanic to look at that. Rev's around 6-7 I would say.

Revs 6 or 7000 rpm? WOT should be more like 8000+. When I first saw this post I was going to suggest 60 gram weights as opposed to the stock 58s. Obviously that would lower the rpm so that is out the window.

It is entirely possible that one or both of your clutches need help at 4600 miles.

Have you checked the belt deflection?
